      <image:title>Farm - Technology</image:title>
      <image:caption>We utilize a wide range of technologies to increase our efficiencies on the farm, especially related to smart irrigation.</image:caption>
    </image:image>
    <image:image>
      <image:loc>https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/574a05b23c44d8bd12b1d6a3/1630328282622-A9L9DCMWORQ0G4Y9RTTE/DJI_0451+2.JPG</image:loc>
      <image:title>Farm - Conservation Tillage</image:title>
      <image:caption>Whenever possible, we utilize conservation tillage in our farm operations. We plant cover crops during the off-season to maintain soil health, and then we plant our spring crop into the residue of the cover crops. This is a proven method to reduce soil erosion.</image:caption>
    </image:image>
    <image:image>
      <image:loc>https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/574a05b23c44d8bd12b1d6a3/1631715379376-M2RKOPVWIYBKXLHTGIVB/nationalpeanutboardincamilla%2Cga%28135%29.JPG</image:loc>
      <image:title>Farm - Soil Moisture Sensors</image:title>
      <image:caption>We utilize soil moisture sensors in our crops to access real-time data in our fields, enabling us to make more informed irrigation decisions.</image:caption>
    </image:image>
    <image:image>
      <image:loc>https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/574a05b23c44d8bd12b1d6a3/1631715372596-MS8GGNIKZ73UNR8OZGVV/VRI.jpg</image:loc>
      <image:title>Farm - Variable Rate Irrigation</image:title>
      <image:caption>Our fields and soils are highly variable - and we even have some non-cropped areas of the field that are under our irrigation system’s coverage. Variable rate irrigation (VRI) utilizes GPS to turn off sprinklers over some of those non-cropped areas so we are only irrigating what needs water.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Farm - GPS Systems</image:title>
      <image:caption>We have GPS systems on our tractors to ensure that we are maximizing our efficiency during both the planting and harvesting process.</image:caption>
    </image:image>

      <image:loc>https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/574a05b23c44d8bd12b1d6a3/1630328130346-VKBF1XAQKKAKZPAFHHD3/84F29549-F399-4D7D-8380-D729C9B6C6A2.JPG</image:loc>
      <image:title>Farm - Crop Rotation</image:title>
      <image:caption>We rotate our crops across the farm, a simple but effective conservation practice. Peanuts are an excellent rotation crop as they are legumes, and the residual nitrogen left in the soil reduces the amount of fertilizer we apply to the subsequent crop.</image:caption>
    </image:image>
    <image:image>
      <image:loc>https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/574a05b23c44d8bd12b1d6a3/1631716772154-E2RBUG9HJ0ZDOBMP0OJO/cover+crops.jpg</image:loc>
      <image:title>Farm - Cover Crops</image:title>
      <image:caption>We plant cover crops during the winter as often as possible to enhance the soil health of our fields. We plant oats, wheat, or rye.</image:caption>
    </image:image>

      <image:title>Farm - Riparian Buffers</image:title>
      <image:caption>We are so fortunate that the majority of our farm land borders the beautiful Flint River. We work hard to maintain a solid riparian buffer between all of our agricultural fields and operations and the river.</image:caption>

      <image:loc>https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/574a05b23c44d8bd12b1d6a3/1630328194949-SEOF7FS0HU957S578ND6/IMG_3322+2.jpg</image:loc>
      <image:title>Farm - Wildlife Habitat</image:title>
      <image:caption>We manage our land for a variety of purposes, including optimal wildlife habitat. We have quite a diversity of wildlife on the farm, including gopher tortoises (a keystone species), deer, bobwhite quail, wild turkeys, and more.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Farm - Pollinator Habitat</image:title>
      <image:caption>We have several native species of plants and flowers that pollinators love, and we are actively looking for ways to increase pollinator habitat across the farm.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Farm - Longleaf Restoration</image:title>
      <image:caption>We are in the process of restoring a significant amount of our timberland to a natural longleaf pine system and have planted hundreds of longleaf pine seedlings in recent years.</image:caption>
    </image:image>
    <image:image>

      <image:title>Farm - Prescribed Fire</image:title>
      <image:caption>Prescribed burning is a critical part of our forest management system, especially in our longleaf pines. This enables the biodiverse ecosystem to thrive, restores natural ecosystems, and reduces wildfire risk.</image:caption>
    </image:image>
    <image:image>
      <image:loc>https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/574a05b23c44d8bd12b1d6a3/1631716763989-T5CWZQDPJIX66XW6LSO8/trees.jpg</image:loc>
      <image:title>Farm - Ecological Forestry</image:title>
      <image:caption>We manage some of our timber with an ecological forestry focus - this means we manage for the long-term health of the overall ecosystem rather than for economic prospects. Longleaf pine can live up to 400 years, and we hope ours will still be here for many more generations!</image:caption>

      <image:title>Our Story - Glenn Cox</image:title>
      <image:caption>Glenn Cox is a lifelong farmer who is in the process of teaching Casey everything he knows. Glenn had the opportunity to return home to the family business and grow the farm operation at the beginning of his career. Over the years, he consistently experimented with new varieties, technologies, tools, practices, and even crops to diversify the business and produce more efficiently. With over 40 years of experience with sweet corn, peanuts, timber, and farming in general, Glenn remains a critical part of the farm operation though he is looking forward to retiring and spending more time in his beloved Flint River. Glenn’s most significant accomplishment, aside from a successful farming career, is instilling a deep love for the land, the river, and the farm in his daughter which spurred her return home.</image:caption>
